Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy or Hysteroscopy)

Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are two minimally invasive surgical procedures that allow our doctors to diagnose and treat certain female factor infertility conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, and uterine anomalies. Through this procedure, we can remove scar tissue, clear the fallopian tubes, and remove fibroids, cysts as well as correct abnormalities within the uterus. For more complex conditions such as large fibroids, a laparotomy (an open abdominal surgery) or robotic laparoscopy may be required. We do not perform tubal reversals.
