Merry Lynn Mann, MD

Dr. Mann is an experienced board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist from Trussville, AL. Dr. Mann returned to Birmingham more than five years ago and has focused on providing comprehensive care to patients across the state. Her expertise includes IVF, infertility treatments, reproductive surgery, and a special interest in managing patients with PCOS and those seeking planned egg cryopreservation.

Dr. Mann is happy to call ACRM her new home and is excited to see you again! She welcomes all families. She lives with her husband in her hometown and is surrounded by her large family (four sisters and all the nieces and nephews). Outside of her professional life, she enjoys gardening, crocheting, and raising chickens.


Experience

She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She then earned her medical degree from UAB, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in Dallas. Dr. Mann furthered her training through fellowships in Clinical Genetics and Metabolism, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, making her the only reproductive endocrinologist in Alabama with a board certification in genetics.
