Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy or Hysteroscopy)

Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are two minimally invasive surgical procedures that allow Dr. Long to diagnose and treat certain female factor infertility conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, and uterine anomalies. Through this procedure, Dr. Long can remove scar tissue, clear the fallopian tubes, and remove fibroids, cysts as well as correct abnormalities within the uterus. Dr. Long may use laparotomy (an open abdominal surgery) or robotic laparoscopy for more complex conditions such as large fibroids.
