Emma Williams

Chief Operating Officer
Emma WilliamsChief Operating Officer

Emma joined ACRM in August 2021 and serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing daily operations across the Birmingham and Montgomery offices. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In her role, Emma leads both strategic and operational initiatives that drive the growth and efficiency of the practice while supporting high-quality patient care. She is deeply passionate about fertility care and the meaningful role it plays in helping individuals and families grow. She is dedicated to creating an environment where patients feel truly known, supported, and cared for throughout every step of their journey.

Shelby

Director of Operations
ShelbyDirector of Operations

Shelby joined ACRM in August 2026 as Director of Operations, where she supports the day-to-day operations of the practice and works alongside the team to provide a positive experience for both patients and staff. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from Samford University.

Shelby has a strong passion for women’s health and healthcare literacy, with a particular focus on ensuring patients feel informed, empowered, and confident in understanding their care so they can take an active role in their healthcare decisions. She is passionate about creating an environment where patients feel supported, valued, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys playing board games, ice skating, and spending time with her dog, Oakley. She is grateful to be part of the ACRM team and to have the opportunity to serve and support patients during such an important chapter of their lives.

Nicole

Office Coordinator
NicoleOffice Coordinator

Nicole has been a valued member of ACRM in Birmingham since May 2022. Prior to joining the team, she spent eight years as a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her children. Since coming to ACRM, she has loved becoming part of a supportive work family while helping other families navigate their infertility journeys.

Nicole and her husband of 18 years have four children together. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing video games, and finding hidden treasures through dumpster diving.

Hannah

Hannah has served as a sonographer at ACRM in Birmingham since September 2019. She earned her degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. After gaining clinical experience at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Hannah chose to specialize in fertility care and has been dedicated to serving ACRM patients ever since.

Hannah is registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is committed to providing each patient with a thorough, compassionate ultrasound experience and takes pride in ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during every visit.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and two fur babies, Molly and Boomer.

Nicole

Registered Nurse

Nicole has been a registered nurse since 2018 and has a strong passion for women’s health, particularly fertility. As a Birmingham native, she is proud to serve the same community in which she was raised. The most rewarding part of her job is educating and advocating for IVF patients. She values building meaningful, trusting relationships and supporting patients throughout their journeys. To her, patients feel more like family, which is what makes ACRM especially meaningful. Outside of work, she is a mother to five kind, beautiful daughters and a wife to her best friend. It is a privilege for her to walk alongside patients during such an important and personal chapter in their lives.

Leighton

Registered Nurse
LeightonRegistered Nurse

Leighton has been a registered nurse since 2019 and has a background in neonatal intensive care. In 2024 she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a specialization in women’s health and is board-certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner. Although she has always been passionate about caring for this population, she discovered during graduate school that fertility care is truly where her heart lies.

As a nurse at ACRM, Leighton values the opportunity to build trusting relationships with her patients and is honored to be a source of support throughout their fertility journey. She strives to provide individualized, compassionate care while guiding patients through one of the most important chapters of their lives.

Outside of work, Leighton enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Matthew, and their two children, Eli and Willow.

Kaleigh

Kaleigh has been a valuable part of ACRM in Birmingham since June 2021. She was born and raised just north of Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Jeremiah’s Hope Academy, where she earned certifications in Phlebotomy, EKG, and as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

Kaleigh is a proud mom to two girls, Ryleigh and Cambrie. Her favorite part of working at ACRM is building close, meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their fertility journey.

Tristan

Medical Assistant

Tristan is a student at Jefferson State Community College majoring in Sonography. Since joining the ACRM team, she has developed a true passion for supporting patients throughout their fertility journeys. She loves both the team she works alongside and the patients she has the opportunity to care for each day. Being part of ACRM has shown Tristan how meaningful it is to support individuals and couples during such an important time in their lives. She is grateful to play a role in helping patients build their families and looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and make a difference.

Amberlee

Endocrine Lab Technician
AmberleeEndocrine Lab Technician

Amberlee has been an ASCP-certified Medical Laboratory Technician since 2008. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Gadsden State Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at the University of Cincinnati. Her professional background is primarily in oncology and hematology, where she developed strong technical skills along with a deep appreciation for the impact of compassionate care.

She joined ACRM’s endocrine laboratory in April 2026, where she continues to grow and expand her knowledge in the field of fertility care. Amberlee particularly values working in a clinical setting, where she can connect more personally with patients and play a meaningful role in their care.

Outside of work, she enjoys grand adventures with her family and spending time with her two spunky fur babies.

Janice

Andrology Lab Technician

Janice has been the andrologist at ACRM in Birmingham since February 2022. She has 20 years of laboratory experience. She has always enjoyed working in the lab and has a special interest in andrology. Janice and her family love to do home projects, cook, and take pictures of their pets.

Mary Carmen

Junior Embryologist

Mary Carmen serves as a Junior Embryologist at ACRM, where she plays an active role in supporting the laboratory’s embryology processes. She earned her degree in biology and exercise science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she developed a passion for reproductive science and patient-centered care. In her role, Mary Carmen supports various aspects of embryology to help ensure high-quality outcomes and a compassionate experience for patients. Outside of the lab, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog Parker.

Whitney

Embryologist

With over ten years of experience in the IVF field, Whitney is dedicated to providing exceptional care to ACRM’s patients. She joined the ACRM family in December 2021 as a per diem embryologist. Whitney holds a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Appalachian State University and began her career in Charlotte, NC, before eventually relocating to Washington, D.C. When she isn’t in the lab, Whitney loves traveling, drumming with her local bagpipe band, and relaxing at home with her husband, Andrew, and their cat, Phoebe.

Kelsey

Registered Nurse

Kelsey is a Registered Nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Columbus State University in 2017. She brings a diverse nursing background with experience in newborn care, medical nursing, emergency medicine, and travel nursing. Throughout her career, she has been honored with multiple Daisy Award nominations in recognition of her compassionate patient care and dedication to excellence.

Currently specializing in IVF and fertility care at ACRM since 2025, Kelsey is passionate about helping patients navigate their fertility journey with empathy, support, and personalized care. She takes pride in going above and beyond to exceed patient expectations and finds deep fulfillment in helping others during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Shelby

Sonographer

Shelby has been a registered diagnostic Medical Sonographer since 2014, working in women’s health and fertility. She earned her degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Trenholm State Community College. She has a passion for fertility and building relationships with her patients through their journey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Audra

Medical Receptionist

Audra believes family comes in many forms, and she’s grateful to support people in building theirs. With over two decades of experience in customer service, kindness, curiosity, and compassion guide her work and the way she connects with others. She also believes a good sense of humor—because it’s all about the timing—can make even the toughest moments feel a little more manageable.

Outside of work, she enjoys puppysitting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She’s also a fan of true crime, psychology, and women’s sports—and honestly, everyone should be watching the WNBA! Quirky? You bet! But she wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s all part of what keeps life interesting.

Brooke

After spending 13 years as a stay-at-home mom, Brooke decided it was time to start a new chapter and joined the fertility clinic team. She quickly fell in love with the patients, the people she worked with, and being part of such an important journey for growing families. Although she left for a short time, she is so happy to be back!

As a fertility receptionist, she enjoys being one of the first friendly faces patients see and helping make their experience feel a little easier. She knows that the fertility journey can come with a lot of emotions and uncertainty, so she strives to make every patient feel welcomed, heard, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband of almost 20 years and her two boys, making the most of this busy, crazy life!
